We regularly review this policy to ensure it meets current regulation and will, from time to time, amend it. Any time we make an amendment we will let our registered member know by email and what the change/s are. “We”, “I”, “Our” or “Us” means the Nourished Body, Hannah Carr or any other member of our team authorised to view your data. 

 

“Personal information”, “Personally Identifiable Information” means information that may be used on its own or in conjunction with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person. Examples of this personal information includes, but is not limited to; your name, date of birth, email address, mailing address and telephone number etc.

 

We will use your personal information in the following instances;

 

  1. To deliver our products and services that you have requested or agreed to participate in; 

  2. To contact you in relation to the use of such products and services;

  3. For content improvement and feedback; and

  4. To inform you of products and services that we or a third party provides and feel that it may be beneficial for you to consider using. 

 

When you are utilising some of our paid for services we will collect your credit/debit card details via a third party supplier; ‘Worldpay, Paypal or Eventbrite’. They only only use the card details provided for the specific transaction you are entering into. We will not have access to your card details and should you wish to make subsequent payments you will need to use Worldpay, Paypal or Eventbrite websites each time, we will provide you with a link to their website. 

 

We do not share your personal information with any third parties. We do however, from time to time, on our website or other communications with you, refer to third party products and/or services that we think you should consider using. The references we make are not specific recommendations to your personally as we are only able to make specific recommendations to you once you have had a personal consultation with us. 

 

We are not responsible for, or in control of these third party sites/products/services and suggest you review their individual Privacy Policies and websites before proceeding to enter your personal information or purchasing products with them. 

 

By entering your personal information on our website or when we collect the information in person you are authoring us to send you free information on our products and services that we feel may be of interest to you. All communication with you will be on the relevant lawful basis as annotated within the GDPR.

 

If at any time in the future you wish to no longer receive emails from us please either hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of our emails or contact us at info@thenourishedbody.co.uk detailing unsubscribe in the subject line.

 

If you are having a nutrition consultation with us, as well as collecting personal information, we may also ask you for 'special categories of data', namely health questions, in order to assist us in determining the most relevant course of action for you. We will only request this information where there is a legitimate reason for us requiring it.   

 

We do our utmost to ensure the personal data we hold about you is as safe and secure as it can be and that the server provider that we use to store your data also complies with the GDPR and relevant laws. It may also be necessary for us to hold personal information (and special categories of data) about you in ‘paper form’ and as such we also ensure that this information is also kept safe and secure. 

 

As the sending of information across the internet is not totally secure we cannot guarantee the security of the data you send us electronically and as such all information you send us over the internet is entirely at your own risk.   

 

Under the GDPR you have the right to;

 

  1. Be informed of how and why we collect personal information from you - this is details in this privacy policy;

  2. Have access to your information - you can email us if you wish to have access to your personal information by emailing info@thenourishedbody.co.uk

  3. Rectify your information - in the event the information is not accurate you can request we correct any omissions/mistakes;

  4. Erase your information - please let us know by emailing info@thenourishedbody.co.uk should you wish us to erase your personal information from our records - we will confirm to you when we have completed your request;

  5. Restrict processing - this means you can requests that we restrict the processing of your personal information;

  6. Request we port your personal data to another data controller - we will require your express written consent to port this information to another controller, we will also require from you specifically where you would like your information sent;

  7. Object to us processing your personal data, please email info@thenourishedbody.co.uk to request this;

  8. Understand if we use automated decision making - we currently do not use such technology at the Nourished Body. Should we choose to add this capability to our product we will let you know how it may effect you.
